escape from reality. Nothing to disturb the peace: no TVs in
the room, no telephones, and the nearest newspaper is in Ronda (16 km). A
great escape!
Breakfast, an Andalucian buffet of fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, breads and cereals, yoghourts, and eggs cooked as you like them. Dinner, high quality food at reasonable prices, is a romantic affair by candle-light.
On winter days, curl up by a chestnut log fire in the cosy drawing-room with a book from our library. In summer stretch out on the rooftop terrace, cool off in the plunge pool. Take a beer from the fridge. Sketch the rooftops. The views are medicine for the mind.
Escape through the chestnut trees to the next village, visit the paleolithic decorated cave near Ronda, sample local wine, wonder at the Roman amphitheatre, explore the real ¨real Spain¨.
